Maintenance Millwright- Weekends

Aerotek is currently hiring for an industrial mechanic in the greater Havre de Grace, MD area! We are seeking a skilled industrial mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding, fabrication, and general mechanical systems, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
fabricate conveyor belts and other mechanical components
troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
Use all hand tools, battery-powered tools, and heavy equipment, including manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders
Perform routine maintenance such as greasing, oil changes, and general cleanup
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks
Be willing to work weekends, long hours, and respond to short notice work requirements based on production demands
Proven experience in a mechanical role
Strong knowledge of welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Havre de Grace, MD.
