Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery setting
Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
Current BLS certification
Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
ACLS certification
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
