A well-established 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Meridian, Idaho is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its collaborative five-doctor team. The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing continuous emergency and critical care services to the community. Emergency veterinarians work across structured rotating shifts designed to ensure consistent patient coverage while supporting a sustainable workload for the clinical team.

The Emergency Veterinarian will manage urgent and critical cases, including triage, diagnostics, stabilization, and treatment planning for a wide range of emergency presentations. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, communicating clearly with clients, and collaborating closely with specialists, technicians, and referral partners to deliver high-quality patient care. The role also involves supporting hospitalized patients overnight or on weekends and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment that encourages learning and professional development.
