Insurance Underwriter M
Alliant
Ensures content of submissions is complete; obtains additional information from Retail Producers and Account Managers as needed. Analyzes policies and endorsements to identify errors, omissions or discrepancies to ensure agreement with application, quote, proposal, and/or binder.
Issues policies and endorsements; Coordinates the preparation of policy delivery with all related documents.
Serves as a technical expert, assisting Account Managers to resolve complex issues.
Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Six (6) or more years of related work experience
Knowledge of insurance industry
Valid Insurance License
Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
