We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team at Civita Care at Northbridge!

As a PTA, you assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist and participate in clinical program development.

Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.

May perform additional assigned administrative duties such as assigned by the Rehab Program Manager.

Under a physician's order provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Consults with and trains patients, residents and caregivers.

Documents activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis.

Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

Participates in clinical program development and implementation.

Demonstrates ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field.

Participates in quality improvement activities.

Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.

Communication skills needed for directing staff, customer relations, marketing activities.

Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and direct patient care.

Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language.
