GCB Building Group is seeking an experienced Lead Residential Carpenter – High-End Construction to join our Field Operations team. This full-time role is perfect for a hands-on professional who thrives on producing high-quality work across multiple scopes-framing, drywall, trim-and is ready to take on leadership responsibilities. As a Lead Carpenter, you'll not only deliver craftsmanship but also oversee projects and guide future crew members as our company continues to grow. At GCB Building Group, we specialize in high-end residential construction and deliver projects with precision, efficiency, and pride. We're a fast-growing construction management company backed by strong client and vendor relationships and a solid foundation of operational systems. Execute and manage rough and finish carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and trim work.

Lead job sites and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to GCB quality standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specs.

Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with all safety standards.

Eventually lead your own crew and mentor junior team members.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites.

Track materials, tools, and daily progress efficiently.

Minimum 7 years of residential carpentry experience, with exposure to various trades.

Proven ability to lead on-site teams or projects.

Proficient in framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and trim installation.

High school diploma or GED required.
