Process Engineering Tech I

Job Description LT is looking for a motivated candidate to fulfill a Process Engineering position in the Plating Department.

Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new and existing products,
Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Collect and analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to monitor process performance and
Troubleshoot plating processes on the production floor, investigate quality issues, process
variation, and other production problems.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve quality, throughput, process capability, scrap,
material usage, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with other engineers, quality personnel, maintenance, and production to address
high-priority manufacturing items.
• Perform other duties and engineering projects as assigned.

Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but open to new graduates

• Willingness to get out of the office and onto the manufacturing floor
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office / Excel
