Represent Dunwoody both on- and off-campus to prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process. Help to plan and implement recruitment activities for assigned high schools and territories.

Admissions counseling occurs primarily by in-person appointments, phone calls and emails. Review and score application essays and other materials submitted by applicants for the purposes of making admission decisions.

Develop and maintain professional relationships with high schools and community agencies in order to build a strong pool of prospects and applicants through active recruiting.

Work closely with students and other Dunwoody departments to ensure any issues related to enrollment, financial aid, and placement are properly resolved.

Help plan, organize and execute successful evening, on-campus recruiting events for prospective students.

Foster a positive and customer-service oriented environment within and between departments of the college.

Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Access.

Ability to learn new computer programs and database management systems and demonstrate proficiency given adequate training.

Ability to analyze and interpret data.

Ability to talk on the phone.

Ability to speak publicly and present information and training material in a cohesive, organized manner.

Ability to work independently to source new employment prospects for graduates.

Must have strong organizational skills, exceptional networking skills, and consistently displays the highest levels of integrity.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including select evenings and weekends to meet college business needs.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to read and interpret charts, graphs and other visually-presented data. To perform the job successfully, must have adequate knowledge of and willingness to use specialized software such as PowerCAMPUS, Great Plains, Adobe Products, SolidWorks, PowerFAIDS, Canvas, ticketing systems and/or other databases/electronic aids, in order to be as self-sufficient as possible in day-to-day operations. Use and maintain shared network folders to greatly limit reliance on personally stored items and documents.

Work is frequently performed inside, with occasional outdoor duties.

Documents process, progress, and results. Personal/Interpersonal Skills: Relates well to all kinds of people. Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred.

• 1-3 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in admissions or similar student service position preferably in a private, non-profit academic environment
• Willingness to travel up to one week at a time, including occasional weekends.
• Ability to work up to two evenings per week and occasional Saturdays.
