As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
