Full Time: Systems Engineering Senior

Salary: $150,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Active Counterintelligence Polygraph, or willingness to obtain one
• One active DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP, or one IAT Level III certification, such as CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered
• 4+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
• Experience integrating operating systems in Linux environments
• Strong grasp of computer hardware architecture as it relates to Linux systems
• Knowledge of parallel computing, graphics algorithms, and real-time rendering in Linux environments
• Proficiency with Python or BASH scripting
• Proficiency with automation platforms such as Ansible, Puppet, Salt, or Terraform
• GPU architecture experience, with at least 4 years preferred by the posting
• Ability to commute to Bethesda, MD and relocate before starting work
• Top Secret clearance required

Responsibilities:

Engineer and support HPC and GPU environments by helping install and maintain on-premises and cloud hardware

Evaluate hardware performance to improve how software and infrastructure work together

Analyze HPC and GPU cluster performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for Linux-based applications

Install and configure job scheduling and workload management tools such as Slurm, PBS, Apache Airflow, and Kubernetes

Apply power management methods to improve GPU energy efficiency across mobile and desktop Linux platforms

Design, run, and expand validation tests, including stress testing, benchmarking, and debugging for GPU performance and functionality on Linux

Maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture notes, code documentation, and Linux best practices for GPU development

Track industry trends and developments in GPU technology and share relevant research and Linux-focused optimization ideas with the team
