It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Responsibilities Contact all insurance companies to verify the description of the patient's medical plan benefits.
Interacts with physicians' office personnel and patients regarding financial issues; Handles customer account transactions, provides customer assistance, and performs and/or oversees cashiering operations.
Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Knowledge of insurance plans. Skilled in a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Medical Terminology
Associates Degree in a related field of study
Previous medical office experience.
