The Behavioral Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, compassionate care to patients with acute mental health needs in an inpatient setting. Partnering with Registered Nurses and the interdisciplinary team, the LPN supports patient safety and stabilization through ongoing monitoring, medication administration, and behavioral observation.

The Behavioral Health LPN helps maintain a safe therapeutic environment, supports admissions and discharges, ensures accurate documentation, and delivers patient-centered care. This position is ideal for nurses who are enthusiastic about inpatient psychiatry and thrive in fast-paced, purpose-driven environments.

Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute mental and behavioral health needs in an inpatient setting
Observe, monitor, and document patient behavior, mental status, and safety risks
Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation to promote unit safety
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per policy and regulations
Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
