Employment Associate – Mid-Level Location: New York, NY
Hybrid: 3 days per week in office
Salary: $205K–$230K + discretionary bonus
Our client, a leading law firm in NYC, is seeking a mid-level Employment Associate with 5–7 years of experience to join its Labor & Employment practice. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both employment counseling and litigation, with a background representing employers and advising clients on compliance and risk management.

Advise clients on employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour compliance, paid sick leave, and emerging issues such as AI in the workplace
Draft and update employee handbooks and employment policies
Handle matters involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour claims, breach of contract, and other employment disputes
Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, restrictive covenants, severance agreements, and other employment-related agreements

D. from an accredited law school

• 5–7 years of relevant employment law experience
• Experience counseling clients on federal, state, and local employment laws
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Salary: $205K–$230K depending on class year and experience, plus discretionary bonus.
