Embedded Software Engineer
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.As an Embedded Software Engineer in the Space and Intelligence Systems business, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for design, development, and test of specialized solutions that are launched into space and considered by our customers to be national assets.
Proficiency in languages such as C++, C, Python
Knowledge of designing networked applications, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Ability to lead the software development process
Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
Drive to integrate AI into the daily work life to improve workplace efficiency
Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)
