Senior Underwriter (FULL-TIME)

Duties include but are not limited to: preparation of FI, ASO and LMF large group quotations for new business opportunities and renewals for existing customers of company Plan; interaction with the sales and account management teams; training of other UW staff on LMF best practices; and other projects identified by management. The successful candidate will exhibit and implement a sound understanding of risk and underwriting methodologies to achieve desired membership and profit targets. The individual is required to maintain confidential information/correspondence and be responsible for meeting extremely tight deadlines. Sr LMF Underwriter should independently manage essential functions, teach those skills to staff, prioritize them and seek assistance from Point32Health UW management team members. Requires the ability to learn and apply all company Plan policies consistently.
