What You’ll Do:
Provide adult patient consultations and follow-up care in a hospital setting
Conduct treatment planning including CT simulation, 3D conformal, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy, and intracavitary/interstitial implants
Review and interpret imaging studies (EMR: EPIC with Aria platform)
Support chemotherapy and supportive care management
Assess toxicity and manage supportive care
Collaborate with radiation therapists, physicists, nurses, and dosimetrists to deliver effective treatments
Log stereotactic cases as required, ensuring quality and safety compliance
What You Need:
Medical degree (MD/DO) with active MO medical license
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
BLS certification
At least 1 year of clinical radiation oncology experience
Skills in treatment planning, imaging review, and supportive care
Ability to perform new patient consultations and follow-ups
About the Assignment:
This role involves supporting a hospital-based oncology department with a variety of case types, including breast, prostate, CNS, head and neck, lung, GI/GU, skin, and emergent palliative cases. Procedures range from CT simulation and planning to advanced techniques such as SRS, SBRT, and HDR brachytherapy. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care and contributing to patient treatment plans.
