Internal Medicine Hospitalist
Employment Type: Full-Time
This position provides inpatient hospitalist care within a hospital employed model. The physician will join an established hospitalist team and manage adult medical inpatients in a modern acute care facility with a Level II Trauma Center. The role features block scheduling and opportunities for additional compensated shifts.
Provide comprehensive inpatient internal medicine hospitalist care
- Manage admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planning
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital
- Participate in block scheduling with 12 hour shifts
- Option to work additional paid shifts
- Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Clinical expertise in inpatient internal medicine
• Ability to collaborate within a hospital based care model
Provide inpatient hospitalist services in a Level II Trauma Center
- Manage acute medical conditions across a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, and ancillary staff
• ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
(Work Environment: Hospital; Established hospitalist group of physicians
- Inpatient acute care environment within a modern hospital
- 12 hour shifts
- Optional additional paid shifts
