The Maintenance Buyer supports the maintenance departments with sourcing and procurement of supplies, parts and external services. Responsible for management of parts rooms.

Create purchase orders for all plant parts.

Track vendors and orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of items.

Manage parts rooms inventories.

Work closely with Maintenance Planners on forecasting upcoming maintenance needs.

Ensure purchases comply with all Company policies: Food Safety, Safety, GMP, etc…

Provide reports and data analysis.

Supervise Inventory Coordinators.

High School Diploma required. Technical Diploma or coursework in related field preferred.

Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems preferred.

Parts inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
