Job Description\n Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Cincinnati, Ohio.CVICU\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/06/2026\n Duration: 8 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n RN – CVICU\n Location: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)Job Type: Part-Time / TemporaryPositions: 2Remaining Positions: 1Start Date: October 6, 2026Contract Length: 8 weeksSchedule\n \n Night Shift\n 3 × 12-hour shifts per week\n 36 hours/week\n Every other weekend\n 12 hours/day\n May float to MICU, SICU, CVICU, Stepdown, Med/Surg, and other units as needed\n Unit Description\n The CVICU is a 28-bed cardiovascular recovery and intensive care unit providing high-acuity care to cardiovascular patients. The unit utilizes advanced technology, critical-thinking skills, and nationally recognized standards of care in a patient- and family-centered environment.\n CVICU nurses provide pre-operative support and immediate post-operative recovery for:\n \n Open-heart surgery\n Heart transplants\n Ventricular assist device (VAD) implantation\n Interventional and structural heart procedures\n Acute cardiology and heart failure patients\n \n Nurses may care for patients requiring:\n \n Impella\n IABP\n ECMO\n C-Mag\n Temporary left/right ventricular support\n Inotropic medications\n Continuous dialysis and ultrafiltration\n Invasive lines and advanced hemodynamic monitoring\n Permanent and temporary ventricular assist devices\n Responsibilities\n \n Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.\n Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.\n Deliver age- and culturally appropriate patient care and education.\n Manage complex cardiovascular and critical-care therapies.\n Float to other critical-care and inpatient units as required.\n Required Qualifications\n \n Diploma of Nursing required.\n Current Ohio RN License or Compact RN License.\n Demonstrated clinical competence in critical-care nursing.\n Ability to provide age- and culturally specific patient care.\n \n \n \n -HS\n About Talent4Health\n \n A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
