Manufacturing Utility Material Handler 1st And 2nd Shift

Module X Solutions is a rapidly growing modular manufacturing business that serves marquee corporate and government customers in renewable energy, network infrastructure, battery storage, telecommunications, petrochemical, utility, transportation, and other verticals. We design, engineer, and manufacture products to our customers' specifications. We are a proud Shreveport-based company working to support our employees and our community. Initial training will be conducted on day shift for approximately 12 weeks from 5:00 AM 3:30 PM. Upon transition to second shift, a $2.00/hour shift differential will be added to the base hourly rate.

Responsible for pulling, receiving, inspecting, sorting, preparing, and shipping various products and materials for upcoming jobs, assisting production with material requests, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse.

Load and unload products and materials from delivery trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves by hand or by forklift

Identify and report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to manager immediately

Receive materials and/or prepare materials for shipment

Record information regarding movement of supplies, materials, and finished products

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory, assist with inventory control

Issue and deliver materials to production floor

Maintain clean and efficient workspace and warehouse

Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work areas by using forklift, pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks

Work Experience: 1+ years of warehouse experience

Education: High school diploma/ GED or equivalent

Related Experience: Forklift experience, building material, general office administration, strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment, strong negotiation techniques, advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, general math skills, general knowledge of hardware, proficient with hand and power tools, ability to read a tape measure, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
