Commercial Underwriter I - Work from Home

Rural Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Commercial Lines Territory Underwriter to serve Southeast Wisconsin. In this field-based role, you'll combine risk evaluation, relationship management, and underwriting expertise to support our commercial and agribusiness insurance portfolio. Working closely with Rural Mutual's captive agents, business owners, and farm operators, you'll conduct onsite inspections, assess exposures, provide underwriting guidance, and make informed decisions that contribute to a profitable and sustainable book of business. This hybrid role is a home-based field position . This position serves Southeast Wisconsin and requires travel throughout the assigned territory.
