Bartender Position
The Le Mridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and service-oriented individual for the position of Bartender to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The Le Mridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is a 605-room dual-branded property with 65,000 square feet of meeting and conference space.
The ideal candidate will have three to six months of related experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
Take beverage and food orders while providing exceptional guest service.
Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly.
Process payments accurately using the POS system.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
Set up and break down the bar before and after each shift.
Report guest concerns and inventory needs to management.
Follow all company policies and food, beverage, health, and safety regulations.
Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
Part-Time: AM & PM Shifts Available
Requirements
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
Must know applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.
Ability to obtain required licenses and certificates.
CPR training and first aid training preferred.
Additional language ability preferred.
