Buyer, Flexible Packaging Procurement

PELOTON Workforce is seeking qualified candidates on behalf of our client for a Procurement Buyer – Packaging position. This role is responsible for sourcing and procuring a variety of packaging materials, including corrugate, paperboard, flexible packaging, films, and labels.

The successful candidate will ensure the timely, cost-effective procurement of materials that meet quality, regulatory, and operational requirements. This position works closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support production while driving cost savings, supplier performance, and continuous improvement.

Source and procure packaging materials, including corrugate, paperboard, flexible packaging, films, and labels.

Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are met.

Lead procurement projects and support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material availability to support production schedules.

Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve procurement issues.

Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

Ensure purchased materials comply with quality, regulatory, and company standards.

Manage multiple procurement projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Resolve recurring purchasing and supply chain issues in a timely and effective manner.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, and/or materials management experience.
• Experience purchasing paper, corrugate, films, flexible packaging, or related packaging materials preferred.
• Project leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
