Work Shift: Various (United States of America)
The role functions as part of a large and varied healthcare team consisting of physicians, nurses, allied health personnel, and members of the community. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care across a range of diagnostic categories and supervising rehabilitation technicians, volunteers, and students. Caseloads may include adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. The person in this position will serve as a generalist while developing a specialization in a clinical area of interest.
Documents treatment plan according to department policy and bills for services. Coordinates appropriate follow‑up post‑discharge from care.
Patient Assessment: Performs functions related to patient evaluation/re‑evaluation, goal setting, and discharge planning according to department policy and procedures. Documents findings according to department policy and bills for services. Takes an active role in servicing patients with immediate needs. Documents productivity in a timely manner.
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
