Training & development
Provides personal care services under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Therapist. The Aide is assigned to specific clients by the Registered Nurse or other appropriate professional who performs services for clients as necessary to maintain their personal comfort and well-being.
Provide companionship and, if authorized, transportation to clients according to the care plan.
Report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor as outlined in the care plan.
Document care provided and maintain accurate records for the Agency.
Work collaboratively with the client's care team and ensure effective communication.
Promote client safety by following infection control practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
Successful completion of a formal aide certification (Florida or other state) or an Agency-administered training program that meets the requirements of Medicare Condition of Participation 42 C.Successful completion of a written HHA competency exam.
Proof of graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Florida or other state).

Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written care plan.
Successful completion of a written HHA competency exam.

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
