In-House Commercial Contracts Attorney (SaaS B2B / B2G)

The Contracts Attorney supports the Chief Legal Officer in legal duties to LCPtracker, performing a variety of legal tasks and work product.
Liaises with internal and external clients on a range of matters, with a strong focus on timely execution of customer contracts.
Analyzes and interprets contracts and provides thoughtful legal advice on potential risks and issues.
Assists with preparation of training materials and SOP's.
Oversees the contract management system/ databases utilized by the Legal team and assists with general legal files organization.
Management of internal legal templates.
Implements good practices in contract review, negotiation, and management.
Researches, analyzes, and summarizes information from a variety of sources including other departments, government offices, websites, and hard copy files.
Assists with other special projects and performs general legal and administrative duties as assigned.
Contract drafting, review, and negotiation with a focus on timely execution
Legal analysis and risk identification with practical business guidance
Contract management systems, templates, and legal file organization
Implementation of contract review and management best practices
Support for RFP responses, training materials, and SOP development
Legal research, issue spotting, and clear communication
This position performs its duties from our New Braunfels, TX, Orange, CA or Fenton, MI office. This position operates in a professional office environment, and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer and multiple screens; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms.
This is a full-time exempt position. General availability during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, is expected. Based on the candidate and/or position, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered; however, a minimum of three (3) or more days per week in the office is required to support executive collaboration, leadership presence, and cross-functional engagement. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
