Phlebotomist (temporary/hourly)

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm.
Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Pay Range Pay Range: $17.75 - $24.50 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees or certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
