Job Description: We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer at our facility in Fayetteville, TN to optimize manufacturing operations at our commercial lawn equipment facility. This role focuses on improving production efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing quality through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, process engineering, and ergonomics, with a passion for driving operational excellence in a serial production environment.THE DAY TO DAY...Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reductionDesign and implement lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mappingDevelop time studies, work measurement systems, and labor standards to improve productivityCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve bottlenecks and improve throughputEvaluate and optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomicsSupport new product introductions by designing efficient manufacturing processes and tooling requirementsMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to guide decision-makingLead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production inefficienciesEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all engineering activitiesTrain and mentor production staff on process improvements and best practicesManage engineering support for serial production lines, ensuring consistent quality and outputOversee process control and optimization for finished goods assembly, packaging, and delivery readinessTHE QUALIFICATIONS...Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field requiredMinimum 3 years’ experience in an Industrial Engineering roleor similar requiredProficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab)Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentExperience in metal fabrication, assembly linesApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.About AriensCoSince 1933, the AriensCo name has been associated with reliable, durably crafted, high-performance outdoor power equipment.
