RN - ICU - Travel Day and Night Shift

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Trauma ICU for a travel nursing job in Tyler, Texas.

Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU) specialty position located in a high-level trauma facility. This role involves providing specialized care to adult patients in a Level I Trauma ICU setting. Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Experience with Epic charting system. Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I experience, PALS certification, TNCC certification, previous charge nurse experience, trauma Level II experience, travel experience.

Float rotation may be required for ICU, Intermediate Care (IMC), and Telemetry units as needed. Patient ratios for days and nights are 2:1. Additional interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.

Shift hours are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Applicants must meet all compliance and licensing criteria, including completion of onboarding modules within 48 hours of contract signing.
