If you are looking for an opportunity to serve something bigger than yourself; The Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using measuring and testing instruments.

Perform electrical maintenance at operating voltages less than 600 volts.
Troubleshoot and identify root causes of various types of electrical failures.
Identify and document any field alterations, as needed.
Respond to emergency site maintenance.
Perform on call and preventive maintenance duties as necessary.
Participate in periodic stock inventories and prepare material requisitions for replacement items.
Facilitate third party vendors related to electrical tasks.
Assist other trade groups in daily operations where required.
Adhere to the established company safety, personnel policies and standard operating procedures.
Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
High school graduate or equivalent GED.
Experience in the commercial electrical service and maintenance trade.
Journeyman Electrician license.
Extensive knowledge of electrical tools and instruments.
Demonstrate ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various electrical systems, controls and equipment with minimal supervision.
Possess the required intelligence community level clearance.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work overtime as needed.
Travel up to 20%
