RN Labor and Delivery
Contract | Night Shift | Onsite
Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, delivering competent and compassionate nursing care.
Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician orders.
Obtains and monitors physiological data, observes patient manifestations, and intervenes when necessary.
Interacts with patients and families to share the care plan during hospitalization and at time of discharge, including informing them of hospital procedures.
Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
Strong ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques effectively.
Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
