Participates in Quality Assurance monitoring and quality control checks on the equipment. To be successful in this role, you must perfectly balance advanced technical precision with deep emotional intelligence. You'll operate complex equipment like linear accelerators and CT scanners to administer life-saving cancer treatments while building long-term, empathetic relationships with patients who see you daily for weeks.Greets patient utilizing AIDET, verifies patient in identification, reviews chart for proper radiation treatment parameters and physician prescriptionsInforms patients and families about the treatment process and answers questionsPrepares patients for treatment.
