CNC Machinist
We are immediately hiring a CNC Machinist for a direct-hire position, specializing in operating and setting up Haas Milling machines. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, detail-oriented individual who can ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet precise specifications.
You'll work with modern Haas CNC equipment and be a critical part of our manufacturing process. Your skills on the mill will directly contribute to our company's success and reputation for quality.
We are seeking a skilled and precise CNC Machinist / Machine Operator primarily focused on Haas Milling machines. This role requires strong technical ability to set up, operate, and perform quality checks to ensure optimal machine performance and product accuracy.
Operate and perform minor set-ups on Haas CNC Vertical Mills.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine production methods and specifications.
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or material issues, adjusting settings as needed to ensure product quality.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements.
Complete production documentation and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with a shift from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or potentially 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Proven ability to operate and perform minor setups on CNC Milling machines (primarily Haas).
Solid understanding of standard machine shop practices, materials, and tooling.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.
2-3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines is preferred.
