Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates should possess certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and SAMA. Charge experience is preferred but not a requirement. Experience with a patient ratio of 3:1 is desired. The nurse will provide care in a fast-paced emergency room environment. Duties will include blood product administration, central line care, and management. The nurse will administer and monitor procedural sedation. Candidates should be comfortable with interpretation of dysrhythmias and care of ventilated patients. Daily census averages 75 visits with a total of 22 beds in the unit. The emergency room caters to a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in IV starts and maintaining IVs. Additional skills include isolation precautions, patient triage, and management of spinal cord injuries. This position involves rotating shifts with weekend coverage required.
