Manufacturing Engineering Senior (Level 3)

Description
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the Advanced Programs team. The team focuses on improving producibility of early designs and creating manufacturing plans and processes to support evolving demands of the Warfighter.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop and implement manufacturing plans and processes to support new and evolving product designs.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve producibility and reduce production risks.
Identify and apply process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth transition of new products and processes into production.
Provide ongoing analysis and feedback to sustain continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
Experience working in a manufacturing shop.
Be able to obtain an interim Secret clearance.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced and changing environment.
Experience with manufacturing, assembly, and production processes.
Experience with creating and reviewing work instructions.
Desired Skills
CREO Design Experience or other CAD program.
Electrical background.
Ability to work independently and as a group with little guidance.
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. Citizen. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Additional Information
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The facility requires special access. The selected candidate must obtain a Secret clearance.
Ability to work remotely: Part‑time remote telework and at a designated Lockheed Martin facility as discussed during hiring.
Work Schedules: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules including condensed schedules.
