Front Desk Agent

We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent people skills for the position of Front Desk Agent. As part of the initial first 10 minutes of a guests experience, the Front Desk Agents is responsible for making lasting first impressions, starting with the warm welcome/welcome back, owning each interaction and representing the company as if it is their own. In addition to undertaking various procedural and administrative duties, dealing with and diffusing conflict or tension is also a critical skill we are looking for.

The best Front Desk Agent will have tremendous patience when dealing with guests and accommodate their every need with enthusiasm and poise. This is an hourly position with potential for earning concierge based commission.

• Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, travel directions, and local recommendations.

Process payments and post charges accurately to guest accounts.

Follow cash handling policies and procedures.

Maintain knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and guest activities.

Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding daily operations.

Complete daily Front Desk checklist.

Complete the daily Boat List for all arrivals and departures.

Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.

Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
