Physician’s Nurse - Full time
TALENT Software Services
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, effective, and patient-centered care in the Operating Room, Gastroenterology Lab, and other perioperative areas. Using the nursing process and evidence-based practice, RNs collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and adherence to the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to diverse patient populations.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and infection control practices.
Participate in committees, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
Take call and respond within 30 minutes when on duty.
Requirements
Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Experience: New graduates welcome (no prior experience required)
Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN license (Texas)
CPR/BCLS (AHA)
Skills/Abilities:
Professional appearance and conduct
Ability to handle confidential information
OSHA Category: 1 - High Risk
