Warehouse Responsible and Delivery

Devon's Chocolates specializes in manufacturing and packaging the highest quality snacks in the world. Excelling in a variety of Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate molded and enrobed products, nut, chocolate, caramel and toffee clusters, popcorn, and gourmet baked nuts. New hires are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments: $The Warehouse Supervisor plans, directs and administers all aspects of the warehouse for production, including requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, and distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies; ensuring the enforcement of all warehouse procedures and practices; screens, interviews, hires, coaches and conducts performance evaluations of all warehouse personnel.
General supervision of warehouse staff.
Super annual inventory counting team of 8 to 12 people.
Establishes operational procedures for production support, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
Recommends changes to existing safety policies and procedures for all activities; Participates in and conducts training.
Inspects physical condition of the warehouse and equipment and prepares work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment; Confers with management/supervisors to ensure the coordination of warehouse activities with such activities as production, sales, records control and purchasing.
Call carriers for quotes and schedule up pickups and delivery appointments.
Directs, schedules salvage of damaged or used material.
Compiles, analyzes and reports on various aspects of obtaining, maintaining and distributing inventories.
Obtain quotes for services, such as forklift repair.
Schedule salvage of damaged materials.
Establishes stocking, storage and disposition procedure for all warehouse materials.
Recommends and implements a budget for the warehouse.
Prepares or reviews requests for orders, bid tabulations, stocking reports, annual contract agreements, pre-quotation bid summaries for the department, and purchase orders.
Develops procedures for the operation and maintenance of a computerized inventory control system; conducts review of inventory data.
Supervises the maintenance of inventories of commonly used items to maximize warehouse storage and prevent stocking of seldom used merchandise.
Follows company policies and procedures.

Warehouse Supervisor
Minimum of high school diploma or GED

• 3 - 5 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, inventory control methods and procedures and all applicable federal and state rules and regulations, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act; Knowledge of general company and warehouse policies and procedures, and the ability practically to apply such knowledge.
• Understanding of stock and inventories generally warehoused in the facility as well as computer driven inventory systems.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, Allergens and Personal Protective Equipment.

Ability to problem- solve equipment and processes in partnership with maintenance.
Ability to read and write, and speak English, Bi-lingual a plus.
Basic Computer Skills
Fast paced manufacturing environment that may include weekend work and overtime, exposure to various temperatures, working on concrete floors and noise levels exceeding 85 dbls. Push/pull up to 2200 lbs of raw materials on a pallet with a pallet jack
Move barrels of up to 600 lbs of ingredients from pallets to conveyors with appropriate equipment.
Potential allergens exposure to: Peanuts, Other Tree Nuts, Wheat, Soy, Milk and Eggs.
Reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weight up to 50 lbs frequently within the range of the floor level to overhead
