Job Title: Registered Dietitian
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team in Tacoma, WA area. This role focuses on providing exceptional nutritional care for patients which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As an integral part of our treatment team, you will be involved in various patient care activities and program planning to promote optimal health and well-being.
Collaborate closely with the treatment team to develop and implement nutrition plans tailored to the needs of patients
Facilitate educational classes and group sessions related to nutrition, skill development, and health concepts on a weekly basis.
Attend monthly patient community meetings to address nutritional needs and concerns.
Participate in patient program activities at least once a month during scheduled work shifts.
Engage in planning and organizing food-related activities with other treatment team members.
Help manage and oversee the Nutrition School Meal Program software platform in collaboration with CSTC and department food managers, clinical nutrition manager, and menu specialist.
Professionals with a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, and completion of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics education program.
Registered Dietitians with at least 24 months of recent full-time experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
Valid Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
