Maintenance Person - Assisted Living

Our senior living community is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community. Intelligent Risk Taking

The Maintenance Assistant provides ongoing preventative maintenance and resident assistance, building and grounds maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance problems and various related tasks as assigned. Performs most tasks independently with occasional assistance of outside vendor. Is available to respond to maintenance emergencies that may arise outside of regular working hours.

Must demonstrate a positive, courteous and respectful attitude to residents, families, staff and visitors.

Prior experience in building maintenance.

Plumbing, including but not limited to design/mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc. HVAC, including but not limited to general principles of HVAC and heat pump operation/mechanics, and refrigeration. Mechanics, including but not limited to design/operation of engines.
