Veterinary Pulse Alliance is a new nonprofit organization with a mission to create an urgent care and emergency facility in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Created to address a critical gap in veterinary care, our facility will provide after-hours urgent care, emergency services, and overnight hospitalization for pets that would otherwise travel more than 85 miles over mountain passes to reach the nearest emergency hospital.

You'll have access to an experienced leadership team that includes a board-certified internal medicine specialist. You will help build a sustainable emergency care model focused on excellent medicine, community impact, and veterinary wellbeing.

Unlike many emergency hospitals, our anticipated caseload allows you the time and space to practice thoughtful medicine, build relationships with referring veterinarians, and enjoy a quality of life that is often difficult to find in emergency medicine.

Emergency Medicine Without the Chaos:
Practice urgent care, emergency medicine, and hospitalization in a lower-volume environment that allows for thorough diagnostics, strong client communication, and thoughtful medical decision‑making without the relentless pace of a large metropolitan ER.

Consultation and support are available from an experienced Internal Medicine Specialist, local veterinary colleagues, and external veterinary consultation resources, providing additional guidance when needed while maintaining your professional autonomy.

Modern Equipment & Emergency Capabilities:
Utilize digital radiography, portable ultrasound for FAST scans, Snyder oxygen cages, in‑house diagnostics, advanced anesthesia equipment, oxygen generation systems, and a fully equipped surgical suite capable of handling emergency procedures such as GDVs and splenectomies.

Base Salary of $150,000+ annually based on experience, schedule, and skillset, with flexibility to structure compensation in a way that best supports your goals and long‑term success. Medical, dental, and vision insurance (w/ clinic contribution to monthly premium!)

Veterinary Pulse Alliance operates as an after‑hours urgent care and hospitalization facility designed to complement local veterinary hospitals.

Following walk‑in hours, a veterinarian and technician remain on‑site to monitor hospitalized patients and respond to emergency cases as needed. Private sleeping quarters are provided, allowing meaningful downtime when caseload permits.

You’ll manage a diverse caseload of urgent and emergency presentations including trauma stabilization, critical medical cases, emergency surgeries, and hospitalized patients requiring overnight monitoring. While emergency experience is valuable, this opportunity may also appeal to confident general practitioners seeking to expand their emergency skillset within a supportive environment.
