Registered Nurse Cardiac Care A

Job Title: RN Cardiovascular - FS
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Days, 4x10s (40 hours/week)
Job Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care for cardiovascular patients in a Cath Lab setting.
Assess, monitor, and care for assigned patients before, during, and after procedures.
Document patient responses, treatments, and changes in physician orders.
Assist physicians during cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products.
Monitor physiological status and intervene when necessary.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and discharge plans.
Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and delegate tasks appropriately.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact (eNLC) RN License.
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current AHA BLS certification.
Current AHA ACLS certification.
Minimum 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience.
Stepdown/PCU experience.
Level I Trauma experience.
Travel nursing experience.
ARRT certification.
Experience with STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart procedures.
Experience with Epic EMR and Xper hemodynamic system.
Knowledge of professional nursing practices, techniques, and procedures.
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
Preferences:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
Experience with Philips imaging systems.
Experience with Siemens imaging equipment.
Strong teamwork and ability to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular environment.
