RN-Registered Nurse Telemetry - Weekend Night Shift

RN - Med Surg/Telemetry

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Orientation: Every Monday, except week of Memorial Day it is 5/26

Charting: Meditech, preferred experience, but not required. Blocked scheduling can not be guaranteed!

Float: Yes, if needed to other MS units

Weekend: Every other

Certs: BLS required

Experience: 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required. Must have experience with Telemetry as there potential for remote Telemetry monitoring.

Locals and first time travelers accepted at the same rate.

Patient Ratios: Days: 6, Nights: 6, Weekends: 6

Float Required: Float to additional Med/Surg units for staffing.

Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary

Patient Diagnoses: Medical- Surgical patients

Holiday coverage is required.

Charting: Meditech experience highly preferred.

Travel pairs are accepted.

Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers; candidates will not be considered prior to the 12-month period.

Modules are non-billable and included as part of orientation.
