Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care given to inpatients and outpatients to patients of all age populations at Piedmont Medical Center requiring respiratory therapy services.

Performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary system

Performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzers

Provides respiratory care to patients

Graduate of Accredited and Approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program

Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:

Current Respiratory Therapy Licensure through South Carolina Medical Examiner’s office

CRTT required (Verified by the National Board of Respiratory Care)

NRP certification required for NICU trained therapists

Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: RRT preferred (Verified by the National Board of Respiratory Care)

Piedmont Medical Network - Rock Hill Hospital is a 288-bed facility that has advanced equipment and experienced healthcare staff catering to the diverse needs of the community it serves.
