Assistant Waiter Position at Margaritaville at Sea
As an Assistant Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for serving beverages from the menu (i.e. coffee, hot tea, iced tea, milk, potable water), bread and butter and salad dressings, at their assigned tables. Responsible for the buffet service (i.e. cleaning tables, serving beverages or items on the buffet line).

Assist Restaurant Waiters in all duties of the dining room service operation.
Serve beverages from the menu and sell mineral (sparkling and still) water at assigned station in the dining room.
Refill bread and butter and serve salad dressing at assigned table when needed.
After food service, send silverware, plates, cups and utensils for washing, and polish the glasses.
Responsible for the cleanliness of their serving station / tables.
Responsible for the equipment issued by the Assistant Maitre D (coffee pots, water jugs, salad serving tongs, locking chain, serving tray).
Responsible for dining room equipment, items issued to waiters, and miscellaneous items, as per dining room manager's instructions.
Follow service procedures set by the restaurant manager.
Follow safety, environmental and USPH procedures.
Responsible for their area's safety, cleanliness and operation.
Relevant ship experience is preferred
Good level of English language
Minimum of three years' experience in a food preparation/service position in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
Ability to analyze and interpret documents such as recipes and manuals.
Passionate about hospitality.
