Buyer - Full Time, Temporary

Schedule: Full-Time Hours

Pay: Hourly

Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site - San Antonio, TX; The Buyer I is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating delivery of materials, parts, and services for aerospace manufacturing. These will include negotiating purchase order terms, ensure supplier comprehension of quality and compliance requirements, and identify cost-effective solutions. The Buyer I will represent the Company and its values and will ensure that the expectations of the Company’s customers are exceeded by performing the following:

Identify, evaluate and select qualified suppliers to meet the cost, quality and delivery.

Manage suppliers/subcontractors to ensure quotes, certifications and terms are well defined.

Support the daily shop floor stand-up meetings, provide material delivery updates and ensure internal stakeholders procurement requirements are understood.

Ensure supplier master data accuracy.

Maintain procurement KPI’s (OTD, Cost, Quality)

Ensure all procured materials and services comply with strict aerospace regulations, such as AS9100, and industry-specific standards.

Understand and comply with safety policies.

3-5 years of purchasing experience required (preferably in aerospace)

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred

Solid work experience with ERP systems and a proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite

Office, warehouse, and manufacturing environment.

Occasional travel may be required.
