PRN Level III/per diem, Night Shift 7p - 7a; 6 shifts per 6 weeks schedule, 2 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 1 major and 2 minor holiday shifts a year

Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse

• 1 year of Emergency experience strongly preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire
• NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire
• ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 12 months required
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course within 12 months required

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

Plans the care of the patient

Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care

Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
