Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a crucial role with a focus on cardiac care. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including specific cardiac procedures such as post-cath interventions, balloon pump management, and Impella care. Candidates must possess a valid OH or compact license and current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Manage and monitor patients with advanced cardiac interventions.
Float to all hospital campuses as required.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent needs.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous ICU experience.
Experience with cardiac-specific interventions.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Must be willing to float to all campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion).
Travel experience in healthcare settings is required.
Valid state nursing license (OH or compact). Pending licenses will not be accepted.
Schedule
This position requires a commitment to a Day 2x12-Hour shift schedule (07:00 - 19:00) with no blocked schedule or exceptions. Call is required, and candidates should be prepared to do so as needed.
