Nursing MEDSURG RN

Registered Nurse - Med-Surg

Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Med-Surg nursing practices, have experience managing a variety of patient conditions, and be committed to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med-Surg unit

Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Document all patient interactions and adhere to best practices in record-keeping

Schedule

This position requires a rotating schedule, including weekends, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift hours are 19:00 to 07:00.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a Med-Surg setting

Current BLS certification

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

Ability to float to different units as needed
