Scope of Position The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard S. Solove Research Institute (the James) is committed to providing high-quality cancer services. The Theranostics Program Manager is responsible for strategic planning, operational, financial, and business oversight of theranostic services throughout the health system, including James and non-James locations.
The Manager works collaboratively with physician leadership, medical directors, the Director of Radiology, the Director of Nursing, and senior leaders to ensure provision of high-quality patient care while maintaining the financial viability of the service line and the hospital.
Position Summary This position provides leadership for the development, implementation, and expansion of theranostic services. It integrates multidisciplinary teams, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives innovation in molecular imaging and targeted therapies. The Theranostics Program Manager collaborates with physician leaders, medical directors, and senior administrators to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care while maintaining financial sustainability.
Responsibilities Strategic planning and operational oversight of theranostic services across the health system.
Financial and business management to ensure the viability of the theranostics service line.
Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration with physician leadership, medical directors, radiology, nursing, and senior leadership.
Drive innovation in molecular imaging and targeted therapies while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Align clinical, academic, and research activities with the overall cancer strategic plan and goals.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiologic Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related health‑care field (required).
Six years of relevant experience, including two years of leadership or management experience in a hospital or clinical setting (required).
Certification or licensure in one or more of the following (preferred): CNMT, ARRT(N), Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), Nuclear Pharmacist, Board-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or appropriate certifications based on background and field of study.
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or MBA in Healthcare Management, Radiopharmacy, or a similar field.
